Short Biography
Hi, I’m Chris Everingham.
I’m a proud Fil-Aussie, born and raised in Newcastle, Australia with my parents and two brothers.
From a young age, sport was my outlet as it gave me a way to express myself, compete, and stay active.
I went on to study a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, alongside further training in fitness, strength & conditioning, and adult education. While at uni, I worked in both research and health settings, helping clients with weight loss, muscle gain, gut health, cardiovascular health, mobility, and more.
In 2010, I had the once-in-a-lifetime chance to play for the Philippine Volcanoes national rugby team. I packed my bags and flew to the Philippines – and everything changed.
For eight years, I played internationally while also teaching performance strategies in nutrition, training, recovery, and stress management to athletes and active individuals. I consulted for brands like Adidas, Unilab, Fitness First, and Optimum Nutrition, and helped drive elite-level results for national sports teams and international competitions.
After COVID, I returned to Newcastle with my wife and daughter, continuing my work in health education: running screenings, delivering workplace wellness talks, and supporting individuals ready to take control of their health, whether through fat loss, strength, or managing overall wellbeing.
Now, I’m pouring that experience into Momentum Dietetics – helping everyday people build better habits, manage their gut health, fuel their training, and take charge of their wellbeing. I’m excited for what’s ahead and we look forward to working with you.
